Default Rocky Mountain Meats Rocky Mountain House Closed

Tried to drop a deer of yesterday just to see that the doors are all boarded up. Sign says closed till further notice due to fire. Anyone know of another good butcher that makes good sausage. I really liked Rocky Meats

I don't have any advice for you, however, I heard that he had a fire and wasn't going to be reopening.

I went to their website a bit ago, and they were having issues getting insurance to cover their fire.

It did say that they had mobile butcher services so that may work for you.

Unfortunately no cutting or sausage this year from Ruddi and his crew. The mobile butcher just does home slaughter and is delivering to other locations. One of the previous front counter employees, Hauke is opening a custom sausage making shop just east of Rocky and just south off Hwy 11. He will be open in about a week. He's been building his shop all summer. Unfortunately he won't be hanging or cutting any game this year, only taking in bagged trim as he has limited cooler space.
