Default Cell Phone Found in the Willmore

Was on my way out from where I was sheep hunting in the Willmore, had to come out earlier then expected because of a death in the family, but on the way out, someone on their way in, just after crossing Seep Creek, either dropped their cell phone or it fell out of their pack. It's pass code protected so I couldn't make any progress that way to try to find its owner, so just thought I'd post that it was found and still working when I picked it up.

Feel free to PM me if the person isn't on AO and I can give you my cell number so we can get it touch. I'll also take it to the dealer in the city I live in to see if they could possibly tell me who's it is as well.

Have fun and good luck to everyone out there hunting, wishing I was still out there chasing the rams I was on, but family comes first. Stay safe out there.

If it's an IPhone, when you get to the passcode screen press emergency then hit medical id. If they set it up should give some info as to who it belongs to. Not sure if other phones do this.

You might want to let the willmore wilderness foundation know of your find. Someone may be asking them if a phone was turned in.

Sorry about the loss in your family, it's good to see people are still out there that help others while dealing with there own tragic events. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Thanks guys. I'm already looking at getting back into the Willmore to see if I can get lucky and tag a bighorn, and being back there helps take the mind off everything when there's nothing to worry about except chasing sheep. I hope you all have some good luck this year, stay safe

It was a productive trip and a tough one even though we never made it to the opener. Hope we get back!
