Just realized the 25-06 I sold was to you Sureshot!

How's your son doing with it ?

Have you tried any bonded bullets in it?

Love the 25-06. Had 2 of them and sold one to fund optics for the other. Both guns have been accurate

I use a 243 for moose and elk.
I've shot elk at 600 yards with it.
Its about knowing your gun and most of all knowing where and when to shoot.
A 2506 will work just fine.
You can't shoot an elk in the @$$ with it and expect it to die like some people do with a 338.

Store bought Winchester bullets from Canadian tire. 100 grain.

Girlfriend shot her cow elk with a 25-06 shoot 100 gr barnes ttsx. Punches both lungs at 150 yards and passed through. Dead withing 50 yards
