Default Seek Thermal™ Reveal XR Thermal Imager

Anyone field test one of these? Could be fun to play around with while sitting in a tree stand.

Its fun but not as usefull as i thought it may be. Tried tracking a coyote with it and finding dead birds in grass and although it works it didnt seem to work well enough to justify the cost. The new leupold on the other hand might be the one to get being as it seems to be of higher quality.

I've got one and I love it! It does more than just its intended outdoor use. Find cold spots in your house, electrical and a person can even see where the studs are in your home. I used it recently hunting wabbit and made it a breeze, especially in this colder weather. You can also track footprints which is great for a stalk hunt, see through dense fog or blowing snow like it wasn't even there. I'm also impressed with the range too. It was a drunk impulse purchase for me but would buy it again sober

Not sure about the Seek brand but I've been looking at the Flir One imager. It just plugs into your phone for the screen. it's $330

You won't be getting any useful range out of a Flir One. I have my level one thermograpy course and the One is only good up to 1 metre to capture any detail at all. For extended ranges of up to 100 yards your looking at a $5000 camera.
