Default Optisan Scopes

Anybody have personal experience with Optisan Scopes? Particularly overall quality and long term reliability.

I did a gun swap with a buddy and the rifle I got has a Optisan Platinum Series 6-24 x 44 scope mounted on it. I've never heard of them and the company doesn't seem to have a website. Google is a little light on info. All I've been able to find so far is it's a Japanese company, scope is manufactured in China, "good" quality for a lower end scope and a few reviews for a Optisan Mamba scope.

Thanks.

I had one on a 22-250 once, it used to give me a headache at the range because it wouldn't focus right. It used to track properly but it wasn't very bright in low light and didn't focus properly. There was a gunshop kinda by the saddledome that used to sell them, or maybe still does.

Thanks for the response.

Guess I'll have to see how it preforms at the range. I did notice it was a little tricky to focus around the house.
