Awesome goat. They make such a wonderful mount as well. Were you down by Onefour / Manyberries / Red Coat Trail?

Maybe have even borrowed their table to bone out the meat while they drooled over your super goat

Great speed goat! I miss hunting in that area but will return in the next year or two. Sorry to hear some "idiot hunters" stole your picnic table, there are jerks everywhere, even in the hunting pursuits.

Thanks everyone!
After waiting nine years to get drawn, we were excited!!
The idea of just getting there before opener was almost a no go.. that so much could go wrong was unbelieveable!!! My health was only a small thing.
Firstly the linkage went out of our truck!! We could not get the part before we left. So my sixteen year old mechanical son figured out how to change gears manually and insisted we go!! Love you son!!
Secondly someone borrowed our lockbox with pretty much all our camo, all our asat leafy suits, some knives, hand saw, our good binos, our spotting scope, and a lot of other gear.... Well we were leaving saturday, but this kinda messed up the plans.
We decided to leave sunday, anyway, without much for gear. After all we had a rifle, couple of knives, and a old pair of binos, didnt need much more. We also had each other and a lot of determination to get there to get past the theft and look forward to the trip. After all we wanted to be there for the first morning..
Left sunday morning intending to stay for a week if needed.
Still had to grab my tag, so stopped at a Wal Mart, 20 minutes to get help, 20 minutes to help the lady to use the machine!!! She had no idea there were antelope in Alberta and questioned why we needed a tag for an African animal.... Well got it straightened out and we were on our way!

The hunt only lasted one day, was excited to get an antelope, but was also sad it was over so quickly, planned to stay a few days.. but the 90mph winds had shattered the tent poles back at camp, and the rain clouds moved in... so we skinned out the antelope, quartered him, packed it all up and said goodbye to our neighbours and headed home... Sure wish I has taken more pictures, but thought we would be there a few days... not complaining as the whole trip was awesome !!! We were blessed with just an absolutely beautiful trophy!!! Words cannot express how thankful I am...
Now to plan out the next adventure..
The season has just begun!!

Congrats! Another impressive specimen for your family! I seem to recall photos of some pretty decent mules & whitetails, you and your girls have knocked down!

Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more photos!
