I heard the same thing about emailing the acess paperwork.tried to email it and the email doesn't work. Asked guys on here that went and they said they didn't have to email anything. Just pre fill out form to make check in faster. That's just what I was told. Don't hold me to it. I'll confirm this on Monday myself.

The email address o sent my form to is the SUFEHRP@forces.gc.ca.
Heard back within a few days as from sending my form off. I'm going for the last antlerless elk hunt on the base and haven't done anything crazy for prep work. Just my normal hunting kit plus the few things that's required for the NWA hunting area. Good luck on your hunt!

We emailed ours in ~week in advance of our mid November bull hunt but I felt it didn't matter as you still had to go through the same process as everyone else who didn't. The only thing it may have helped with was for you to know your information better off the top of your head....otherwise it didn't get mentioned or help fast track anything once you got there
Need a first aid kit and space blanket on your list also for NWA

As mentioned add a space blanket to the list for NWA area. I was there in December and only thing they really checked prior to NWA was the GPS. It can be easy to get turned around in there on foot. Id recommend adding a waypoint to where you park your vehicle so you can make your way back easily even if you lose your bearings.
I also did not email in anything ahead of time. Check in process was pretty smooth and well organized I thought.
Good luck!
