Default Ghost lake public land use zone- should I hunt there?

Howdy folks. This'll be it- my first year hunting. I know this area around the ghost lake PLUZ and have seen tons of hunters there while winter camping. It would be a comfortable place for me to spend a weekend while I get my feet wet a bit and get out in the bush with a gun(safely)

Anyways- Im just worried with all the quads, people, etc...will this be a waste of a weekend as far as looking for deer? I dont have a quad so I cant get deep in though I am young and willing to hike.

Would it be worth my time as a newb to drive a little farther away from the city and try to find someplace a bit less travelled?

Not looking for anyones specific spot- just a general question in regards to hunting just a couple hours away from Calgary/Cochrane- cheers!

Few years back 2 fellas were shot whilst riding on there ATV out that way... Fella who shot em figgerd they was a moose...

I'd find something a bit more secluded... South east of Calgary has always been nice fer spottin deer.

I've been hunting for 3 years each year I've got 1 deer and all 3 of them have been from the Ghost Pluz. You can grab a map from the info kiosk's that show you the trails and can drive a fair way in on those trails depending on road conditions.
