Exclamation Antelope hunting WMU 102-118 Accommodations

Evening all; I promised that I would post the fact that the Southern Ranchman Inn in Manyberries is about to re-open.

New ownership, Judy Fulton from BC and reservations can be made by phone + 1 403 488 4206. They have done a lot in cleaning up on the 99 year old building , and are a much welcome place to stop after a long day chasing speed goats, pheasants etc.

They should be open, this week with all clearances and liquor license so give her a call and grab a bite or cold one! If you are staying a day or two it will beat the long commute back to Foremost.

That is good news for the area! Hoping she can make a go of it! I've had the "odd" cold one in that establishment over the years... lol..

Is that the many berries hotel. A few years ago the mouse sh** in the rooms in the hotel was unbelievable. It is quite the experience going to many berries. Just like going back in time about 30 years. 2010 when we where goat hunting we stayed in medicine hat and drove out each morning.

I stayed in Elk water about 5 years ago when I was down there hunting antelope. They had an off season special and the room was awesome. I think it was $85 bucks a night ( regular $299 ) and there was diesel at the little store down the road. Nice little town and not nearly as far as Medicine hat for the morning drive down to the Manyberries area.

Elkwater would be a much better choice for accomodations, etc. You are not far from your hunting area/s and Elkwater has pretty well everything you will need, fuel, food, etc. Good luck!
