Honestly don't know much about the shockey family, but the patriarch was most certainly a legend outdoorsman.

Condolances to the family.

Yes last Jim Shockey episode on Wild TV was dedicated to Len.

I'm glad I got to see that episode before the free month was up.
How fitting.
Both those old birds had a great love of the outdoors.
Thats how I want to be.
I better train my children well.

x1000 on the kids.

I LMAO when the old briefs were hanging from the cloths line made from the trigger sticks. That isn't probably to far from the truth.

To Jim and his family, stand proud as you had an exceptional father/grandfather/father in-law and were so lucky to spend many many days afield with him.

These kind of moments will be cherished forever.

To all the fellow A/O members and others, take the time if you have the ability to spend time with loved ones. Life sometimes isn't fair and can be gone so fast.

In Jim's case, he had a great life with his dad and took every moment he could. We could all learn from a great man in himself.

i had this premonition about a month ago that this would happen.

the episode with Len and him shooting the 'biggest' buck competition is an absolute fav.

The last show that Jim had with these two guys had me in stitches and laughing, bringing tears to my eyes.. What a combination, those guys were together.
RIP, fellas, you deserve it. I'm sure you lived a full life, with family and friends...

Those 2 made the show special.

Condolences to the Shockey family, tough to loose both in such a short time.

these were great shows as they acted like everybody does, a lot of good ribbing, and laughing between the three of them, Those two guys are hilarious!
Yes the big buck contest between the two is very funny, the show when he missed a bear and the gun was off and they both blamed the guiding (Jim). Good real laughs,
those shows / guys will be missed, That family was very lucky to have two great people in there life.
Spend every moment you can with your family's doing things you enjoy together!

My wife was just telling me she heard that Len had passed away, that's terrible that they have lost Hal now too. Thoughts and prayers to the Shockeys. Will miss seeing these two characters. Happy hunting in the Big Hunting Grounds above.
