Default MCVINNIE RESERVOIR reports?

Lookin on info for this lake? Should be open water now and heard has good sized trout in thier. Says they stock it with 21cm trout.

Ever since they posted the picture of the beastly trout a few years ago in the regs it seems to get hit pretty hard.

I use to slam fish there all the time. The last dozen trips or so have been really slow and most of the time it is only 1 or 2 fish for the whole trip.

I am sure there is still some pretty good fish in there but they are rarely seen.

I have kind of strayed away from there and head elsewhere now.

It has been pretty slow for a while. Probably won't even make a trip out there this year

Default McVinnie

I used to fish McVinnie 4-5 times a year, but now I haven't been there for about 5 years. Got disgusted with the trash throwers, and picking-up after them. I always had good success with the fly rod, but I never hooked anything over 14".
Fun and easy to fish with a flyrod.
