Today in the Medhat paper there's this story in a nutshell; cops get a tip about some guys dealing crack. The stop them, find cocaine. Search their motel, find a whole bunch of cocaine. A judge threw it out, all 4 are out on the streets, I'm sure, dealing cocaine.
Maybe the cops need to start harassing judges and lawyers. Maybe polititians, too. Bet that'd get things changed in a hurry. Oh, just a minute, the criminal code of canada is mostly stuff about protecting polititians, judges, lawyers, and the police.
I don't know the fine details, yadda yadda. Right is right, and wrong is wrong, period.

That must be darn frustrating for a cop... Risk your neck to bust some creep, and then said creep is on the loose faster than the cop can finish the paperwork...
