Florida Man Shoots And Kills Man Over a Parkinglot Dispute Not Arrested
A man who shot and killed another man in Florida this week during an argument over a parking space will not be arrested or charged by the sheriff’s office because of the state’s so-called Stand Your Ground law, the authorities said.

And that's what happens when you bring your dukes to a gun fight.
What Florida has done is made it illegal to assault anyone without the potential of death. It's the Wild West on the east coast.

Who shoots someone after getting shoved?
Who argues, to the point the other party is afraid for their life, about parking in a handicap stall when asked why they were parked there?
Who parks in a handicap stall who isn't handicap?
Another situation where if basic rules and common courtesy were followed, would never have happened.

So, in Florida, one can provoke a confrontation and then shoot the person who you're provoking when they react.
That's pretty stunning, and not in a good way.

Sounds a lot like fake news from the anti-gun lobby wanting to sway public opinion to make guns illegal.

It wasn't really a light shove, and watch the guys position after shoving the guy down, he was getting ready for more by the looks of it.

Yup, it wasn't until he saw the gun come out that he backed off. Also there was another guy coming in from behind who was going to get involved but took off when he seen the gun come out. Not sure if he was going to defend the shooter or the shootee but he knew when to vacate.

I guess "stop or I'll shoot" wasn't in the CC course
It was a hard shove however if you watch the video the guy was backing off after the gun was pulled out

Sad both ways. Moral of the story . Keep your hands to yourself.

The Sheriff may not charge him but I'm willing to bet the the State Attorney will. After the shove and the gun was drawn there was no longer a threat. By any Rules of Engagement the shooting was not justified.......even by a Cop or a Soldier. I predict that he will be charged.

Moral of the story: Parking in a handicap spot when you’re not, because your too lazy to walk a few extra feet, may result in you never having to walk any distance again!

The penalty seems a little stiff.

Agree. Check around for this story on US MSM sites and read the comments, simply amazing.
The guy who got shot, his girlfriend parked in a handicapped spot, ILLEGAL.
When confronted about it her hero boyfriend comes out and goes straight to violence assaulting the guy, also ILLEGAL.
But some people think both of those illegal acts are ok and are trying to paint the usual picture.
Look for that guys rap sheet, multiple assaults including assaulting his girlfriend, multiple trafficking in Coke charges and a laundry list of other charges stemming from his violent tendencies.
No, he was not a "good boy", he wasn't a scumbag who finally met his match.
Has his girlfriend not have parked in a handicapped spot, or if the bf did not assault the shooter, he would still be alive today to continue to victimize other people, good riddance!

Sure......if that’s his only indiscretion.....but guys that do this are generally (💩 and wreck havoc everywhere. The law judges people one separate action at a time. We personally judge a person by the all of their actions.
So call it Karma for some other illegal worse thing he did.
But it sure does set a stern example for others. His life wasn’t in vain...he can be a reminders for others what can happen when you’re an ignorant boor.

I haven't looked into this particular guy's past, but doesn't it seem that often times these "innocent victims" turn out to be not so innocent?

I 100% agree with this except in 1 circumstance but there is no audio on the video to confirm. If the deceased had verbally threatened the shooter after the push by saying something like "I going to kill you". The there could be a reasonable believe that the assault was going to continue resulting in serious injury or death.
But on face value of the video alone, it does not look good for the shooter.
Also it is very sad that it occur in front of the decease's 5 year old son. He is definitely old enough to know what was going and to remember it; that is going to mess him up.

Not as stiff as the guy who resorted to physical violence.

the shooter feared for his life. He didnt know if the guy had a gun or a weapon. Isnt that the justification everyone here uses for every shooting??
Why would it be different here.

Law or not that was murder. Nothing less than murder. Doesn't matter if the guy was a whatever, it was still murder. And his family including a 5 year old boy watched it happen.

I've seen videos of eagles swooping down and carrying off a child and I've seen videos of battles in space ships. I don't believe any of it anymore.
