Default Broadhead blade/flight alignment?

When I innitially had my shafts cut and inserts installed the flights were aligned with the blades of the broadheads, but now I wrote off and arrow and looking to put another broadhead on one of my arrows, but the flights don't align with the blades...how critical is this??? or does it even matter? I use carbon fibre arrows with blazer flights (3) and my broadheads are 3 blade Montecs. thanks all.

Consistency is a nice thing, but don't let it bug you. I have the same situation. Just spin them. If they are true it won't make an appreciable difference at reasonable distances. I shoot broadheads for practice and do not notice the difference (indexed vs. non-indexed blades)under 50 yards. The bow needs to be tuned and the arrow spin true. That's about it.

Agree.

10+ years ago it was a normal issue...but technology has improved broadhead design regardless of what type of fletching your using now.

That said, still good to practice with broadheads...they will fly slightly different than field points on occasion with a poorly tuned bow..even a well tuned bow.
