Default Target predator

Anyone on here ever have this problem ? Went to shoot my 3 D targets for practice and noticed a large hole in the chest of one . On closer examination I found the culprit , dead inside . He helped himself to the one target and it ended up being the death of him , the other target had also been hammered on the other side .GlenDel makes a decent target but they aren't pecker proof ..

I saw that with a club target once... peckers made a nest in it and hatched their family.... I had no idea until I shot it and saw a bird fly out the back... i thought WTF and there was a nest with chicks... so just left it for the season until chicks left....

Well, when you think about it a deer target is basically like a dead log, same soft substance and it doesn't move. Good to know, won't be leaving mine out for any period of time.
