I dont check out the fishing forum too much but sure have enjoyed this thread. I dont get out fishing as much as I would like but do enjoy it and love taking my kids.
So here are a few of mine

Oldest Sons first walleye, cold and rainy day. We hardly noticed!

Here is a funny one. My sons reel came off his rod while bringing up a fish. Sometimes its a 2 man job to reel in a 2 lb fish!


A decent 'eye I caught in Gull


And the next few are from a trip to Newfoundland a couple years ago not fishing but some water anyways.

Thanks for the idea on the strike indy hopper thing Darter. I just put a hook through an indy and was using that for awhile. Never did get a hit on those things but still get smashed all the time on a normal indy.

I think we should arrange a fly fishing trip sometime and go chuck some hoppers. Those foamies you tied look damn good.

I would post a pic of my sons first brookie which he caught at 17 months but we only have a video so I will have to get a new video editing program and do a screen shot of it sometime.

Nice to see the young ones getting into fishing.
