Default H-5000 Action

I am contemplating doing a new build on a older Husqvarna H 5000 action. The action is in great shape. I think it would make a nice build when finished. I am curious if anyone has done a build on a similar action and were you happy with the end result. 280ai if anyone is curious.
Thanks

That action (Husq1640) HVA is about as good as they get. I`ve built several rifles on them including .35 Whelen Ai, .338-06 and 6.5x55 SE. Some say they are superior to the German made Mod 98. I wouldn`t have too many doubts about that. I have rifle on both types. Great actions .. both of them.

They are a great and very strong action. You will never regret doing a build on one of them. They can be made into a fantastic full stock rifle.

HVA Karl gustov best action around . Model 8000 . Only one problem. There is no after market trigger available and you cant do to much with the original one as it is part of the bolt release . So you have to get used to it and live with it .
