Default Next TIme Someone Asks Which Cartridge For?

Show them this. I think the 300 WIN might be too much man for me but I have always liked the 308.

(Found this on another site and thought I would share)

The 30-06 gets the job done best, because it's been doing it for longer.

(When I bought my first new hunting rifle I told my brother it was an 30-06, and he said "That's an old man caliber")

Just trying to help you out Nyksta, figured since you couldn’t decide I’d give you you a place to start from. Once you get good with one of those it’ll be much easier for you to figure things out

Ill consider that. I'd hate to buy something and then not have the skill to handle it.

Good point, this is probably a better option for you.

I’d go with the 50bmg. You can do anything with one of them.

My sentiment exactly. She looks like she could pull a moose back to the truck...

Curious if one of those 6.5 creedmore cartridges are good for anything other then arguing over?

A buddy of mine has one in a browning hells canyon and another in a bergara HMR. They both love the cartridge and I’m contemplating one more or less for the fact that I want a light recoiling rifle to run suppressed. Ammo isn’t that expensive and I have that suppressor to run on an HMR. Brian’s Hell’s Canyon is suppressed and the smile On his face every time he shots it is priceless.

Sorry guys, the picture I originally posted has been deleted. Guess the mods didn't like it for some reason. I post much less these days cause this place is getting less fun all the time. Between far more argumentative types posting, lots of anti gun, anti hunting people schlepping around and stirring the pot and the Political Correctness going way overboard I have found more interesting places to hang out. All the best for the New Year.
