Default Proof of CFSC

Hey everbody, thought I'd share this: the instructor we had when we challenged the Firearm Safety Course for our PAL's told us NOT to misplace our proof certificate. Apparently he's had about 40 people doing the test again because the Gov't doesn't have any record of it from the first time.

the instructors should be keeping a copy of your test results for a couple of years on file. That is what mine did anyway.

Hey bear, the licence is good for 5 years before you have to renew it though. Sorry, I should have mentioned the time frames.

Default CFSC Copies

As Instructors we are obligated to keep our course records for 1 year.
They have accepted photo copies in the past when individuals have lost or misplaced theirs.
