Just as a point of interest I have 5) .308"s and 4) 7mm Rem mags. The recoil pulse to me is sharper on all the .308 just like my 2) 30-06's. It is just the way MY body accepts the recoil. Yet my .388 is as tame as a ***** cat. Again different strokes for different folks.

As for stock fit I have been preaching that for years, glad some are listening.

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

A buddy of mine has a 270 that I hate shooting. So does he. He hangs on to it because it was his Dad's. I much preferred shooting a 338 Lapua with no break than I do his 270. Stock build and design has a huge impact on that, without question.

Same buddy has a 7RM, as do I. Completely different setups. Before he got his brake installed, I much preferred my7RM over his. I still do, his just has less recoil than mine now. A good, comfortable fit for a rifle, I believe is important. The youth and ladies class stocks have made it easier for almost anyone to enjoy shooting now, mostly because of better fitment. Or so I believe.
