You want to see a missed call? Watch SN and see Kane send Benning into the broads from behind.

Yup. And these are the things the league is supposed to be working hard trying to eliminate. These things are always dangerous.

A bench minor when time is stopped is NEVER a good penalty.
And Bennett, he should have got a diving penalty. Kane barely touched him.

Just wondering if you know of a single Flames fan who actually legitimately thought this team was going to win the cup this year?

100% missed the game as Willy had playoffs starting (And ending at least for him)
:-(

How did Johnny get kicked out?
Sounds like a real melt down for the team including our head coach.
Was it goalie issues on our end?

I do know we are missing Smith and that may very well be the reason this team will have a issue making playoffs.

Johnny got high sticked and got a penalty for embellishment, the stick had white tape so it matched his jersey and the Red couldn’t tell. He got ****ed off for a good reason and got kicked out... now I know why so many players tape there stick white right to the tip when they play at home.

Johnny was pretty lucky when he got hit under the chin by Bennett's skate, could have been a lot worse. But yeah, the Flames did crap the bed.

They forgot to come out of the dressing room for the 2nd period.

Pretty quiet on the Flames front, time to bump up the thread Can't comment on the Oilers' thread anymore, as everyone has resigned themselves to the fact that "Yep, they suck this year."

Losing Smith was kinda like taking the 4" hole saw and popping a hole in the bottom of the row boat. Everybody bailing like hell but she's still going down. *sigh*. Gillies is a bit like Justin...he's just not ready either. Although he is still doing his job better than Justin.

I don't think that it's only losing Smith, but that only seems to compound everything else. I don't think that I have seen more than one or two bounces/calls go in the Flames favor since Smith's injury. It's really unfortunate, because the team has a lot of talent/heart (this is hard to admit coming from someone who really doesn't like the Flames)

He needs more than the pass to Brower to make up for all the mistakes and turnovers he made this year alone...LOL
