Arrow Browning M1000 .300 Win Mag scope?

My uncle is looking for an idiot proof easy to use quality scope to put on his Browning M1000 .300 Win Mag. He wants to reach out and touch something out to 500 yards and possibly beyond. He will be using it for coyotes, benchrest and possibly zombies that keep there distance. He does not know how to use the mildot system and wants to stay away from it if possible. He is also a handloader.

He will need rings/mount and the scope. He already has a Leica range finder and spotting scope too partner up with.

These are what he's been thinking about:

Leupold's VX-7L 4.5-18x56mm Long Range
Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 Riflescope - BT-PLEX Reticle

Any help would be appreciated

My cousin put a huskamaw on his and what a nice set up that is to shoot. Those guns are so nice to shoot. Your uncle's going to love it. His kicks less than my 270 for sure. Either one of those scopes would be deadly though.

The Huskemaw would be the way to go. Also the Shepard scopes are excellent but you have to ensure you get the correct model.

Best of luck!
