Default Anyone Willing to take me Burbot Fishing?

I'm an avid ice fisherman, but I have had little success catching these guys. I am from Calgary, so south Alberta would be best. I'm looking for someone to show me the ropes do's and do not's. Night is okay. I have all necessary equipment, ie: insulated double hub, heater, 10" Auger, Ice saw, Tracked SxS, Equipment Sled, Rods and such.

Thanks for your consideration, and entertaining the "new guy"

wish you were closer I'm tired of going alone. And only 200 yards from a rather large lake near lake of the woods.

Fly fishing for burbot through the ice might be a challenge!

Burbot are bottom feeders.
Dead things on the bottom work. Smelts are a personal favourite

golden jig with a smelt or minnow. bounce it off the bottom and make a bunch of dust. Has worked for me even during the day.

I have found success with a homemade 30' lead wire shooting head ...but you need a 10" hole and no wind
