Nice to see Ruzicka get another point too. He is clearly outplaying Richards at this point.

Also leap frogged Dallas, back in the playoffs, with 5 games in hand on all divisional playoff teams!

Flames domination

62 shots on net a flames record!

3rd game in 4 nights, playing a team they embarrassed bad on Monday.....kinda expected that. Oh well. I can't be unhappy with them and where they are. Surpassed all my expectations by far.

I'm with you there. Halfway through the season, if everyone continues on how they have been, at season's end, we'll have:

Minnesota: 114 pts
Calgary:97 pts
Dallas: 94 pts
Anaheim: 93 pts
L.A.: 93 pts
Edmonton: 93 pts
San Jose: 88 pts.

Now, everybody won't continue as they have, Calgary is done in the East for example (were the majority of the elite teams are) and some teams will pick up players, Edmonton for example, changing the dynamics of the team, but it should be ball park.

I'd be happy if the Flames finish around 100 points.

Well I am hoping the Flames vs Canucks will be a little more exciting than the Oilers vs Habs.

Agree. Good to see Oilers finally get on the + side of goal differential this year, but you should expect to spank the last place team.

Hope Flames can get in the W column. George Canyon did the anthem, that's always a good start. Would be a good game for them to be bringing the checking game me thinks.

That was a nasty hit Meyers put on Lewis. I imagine he may be getting a call bout that.

7 shots to 1
Maybe not.
Has there ever been a period of hockey with zero shots on net?
Shutting them down pretty good I’d say.

Yeah, sorry bout that.

Was kind of a snoozer, till that short OT. Glad they picked up 2. Demko had a solid game, as did Markstrom.

Any wagers on Meyers suspension? Does he get one?

I think you're right. Lewis should have protected himself. But Meyers has a record. I'm guessing the low end of that, they are gonna make note of the glove Lewis put in Meyer's face prior. Not that it excuses the hit.

Weird game. Vancouver goalie was hot. Bounces were off.

Well I will take the W but whoa that was a tough watch. Defensive games are never exciting, but I will take an ugly win. Marky with another shutout is awesome to see. In Dallas next up, but we get a couple days rest. Bring on the Stars..

Wow!!! Less then 5 minutes on the clock and Flames with 3 goals in 3:37 span to win 4-3 in regulation!

What a great comeback win! I'm so impressed with the heart they showed! Mangiappane got them back on track, and Johnny ties it! They kill a penalty and Kylington jumps in and BOOM!!

Great win.

Lot of disappointed Oilers fans tonight.

Well at least it wasn't another 3 point game. Gutsy comeback.

I think this is really their first big comeback of the year? Maybe I missed one, I dunno. A couple years ago they were pulling off those 3rd period comebacks all the time, it was almost funny. This year not so much. That has to be a confidence builder for them. It's not like Dallas is a slouch team to do that to.

I'm still kind of happily amazed. They jumped Dallas in league standings with that win too.

After that, I’d imagine that each team is sitting at the very end of the emotion spectrum. Flames are exhilarated and Dallas is befuddled.

Hopefully it gives them a little momentum as they make up the games they rescheduled. This is a tough stretch for them.

Man, I never take anything for granted. They beat some of the top teams consistently and then barf on their skates playing cellar teams. Makes me crazy. Beat the Pens, Rangers, Bruins, Panthers, lose to Ottawa and Habs. Ugh.

Yeah, I was so off the bandwagon that I was in hell....until that 5 minute stretch.

I'm with you Twisted Canuck. Such a frustrating team at times but better this year (slightly better) than years past. But if they lose to the Coyotes tomorrow I am going to stop watching them......until the next game.
