Congrats. Does your wife hunt much? Hope she knows what she is getting into with a goat licence.

She got drawn in area I which is between the muddy water and the jackpine rivers in the willmore.Actually she does hunt a fair bit and is fitter than most men I know including myself! She drew her first moose tag two years ago and insisted on killing a good one, well she got a 52 inch bull the first day out!Hopefully she hasn't used up al her beginner's luck.

Make sure to tell her congrats!
She is the first person I have actually ever heard of drawing a tag. I always wondered who the lucky people were.

That is a sweet area and in my opinion has the biggest goats in Alberta. Good luck!

I found out last fall she likes to hunt, when I got a picture of her on my trail cam, trudging through 3 feet of snow hunting elk! I talked to her a bit today and she knows full well what she's in for. If I had to bet, I'd lay money on her being successful.

I wish her the best, and hope she gets a BIG old billy!

This is the second person I know that got drawn...

I doubt that rocks has his trail cam set up where we are going but he will be along for the trip so I'm sure there will be lots of pictures successful or not!

If you want a little info on where some goats are you can contact me if you want. Another Idea is you could also hire Pete or Tyler Mcmohan to pack you in there if you don't have horses and such. They will also be able to tell you where to look.
