I'm sure if you talked to the Admin here, they could set up your buddies at Vortex with some advertising, and then anybody who cared to know anything about them could just click an ad at the top of the page.

If the admin here has any problem with my post please let me know and remove it. Not sure how I offended ADN but it appears I have!

I also posted that I liked Montana decoys (not a sponsor) should that be removed too?

Was looking for a dog trainer in Calgary maybe I shouldn't have asked for one here since AO isn't getting a cut?

I don't really see a problem here. The way I interpret the post is that Mathews Archer was simply giving his opinion of a good product and giving a site and information where one might find it and further information. The fact that he is a prostaff member means that he has to walk a somewhat thiner line to ensure he isn't advertising but it also makes his opinion as, if not more credible than some.

I have to agree with Morb. Mathews archer was giving his opinion and a gave a site that, you , the reader can form your own opinion. He neither owns the website or the store mentioned.

Well I respect your judgement, but I disagree that as a prostaff, his opinion is 'more credible' - Actually, I think the opposite.

I'm fine with anyone chiming in with facts or opinions. I just think people who are prostaff or have some other vested interest in a product just need to identify themselves as such. If I know, I'll consider their input in that light, but I may also ask them even more questions because I know they can get me answers... Mathews/Kevin should have done that right off the bat. But no big deal.

The fact I am on their prostaff was/is in my profile. I have been for the past two years and hope to be for a third. I have been on the website the entire time and I think this was my second reply to a post on optics. If I was trying to spam this board for Vortex I could have started my own threads and really upped my post count.

Well you all have valid points and they all have their strong and not so strong points associated with them. Hopefully we can consider this matter dealt with and get on with dealing with the main purpose of the thread.

Thanks guys/gals
