Default Is Gunstock blank ITAR controlled

Does anyone have accurate knowledge of ITAR regulating wood gunstock blanks? Technically it is just a slab of walnut...

I am in California in May and would like to bring a couple back from Calico hardwoods.

As long as it hasn't been roughed out to shape, should be no issues with that. Unless there is something weird in Canada rules about importing some particular woods, depending on the source country it originated from. You could be veneer cutting for guitars as far as they know.

They are ITAR regulated, it is just that Boyd's had the required permits. Boyd's is currently NOT shipping to Canada pending clarification of the rule changes that take effect Mar this year. Raw wood you are fine other than that check out Wildcat and MCRS who are both located in Canada.
