I'd say the same but isn't that 10 days?

Does taking time off of work come into the equation? If not I'd pick 17-25 so there was only one Saturday and one Sunday involved. Otherwise, I'd pick 19 - 27.

Haha you don't have to worry about missing work days just 9 days anytime. Most of you seem to think the last part of the month. From my experience I feel the bush country slows down after the 23rd. Do any of you keep a record of dates when you kill? It would be cool to get a bunch of records together try to find the day with the most kills.

Nice have fun chuck, and most of my kills fall inside 12th-20th in the bush and I only killed a few in farm country most after the 22nd.

I have not had 9 straight days to hunt November since high school, but hopefully I can in the next few years.

I would probably go from the 15-24. I've seen big deer taken outside of those days, but the bulk in there.

As for me, I'll probably get out 9 days, but it will be discontinuous.

I've taken my better bucks anywhere from the 8th right to the 29th, so yeah I'd have to vote for the whole month!

My observation is that you see a lot of the younger bucks going crazy from the 8-18th. The does are not quite ready to breed yet, and the "experienced" bucks are still rather docile. When the does hit estrous, around the 18-28th, the dominant bucks will get into the game, moving lots, but then sticking tight to any hot doe they have come across.

If you're looking for a Big Buck, I'd pick 18-27. In my main WT area, 21-23 seem to be "Magic" days for monsters to be on the move and making mistakes.... Hunt for the does, that is where the bucks will be....

That is exactly what I am doing.

I have reserved an undersubscribed antlered moose permit up north.
I have an antlered mule deer draw close to home.
General and supplemental white-tail permits.
Antlerless white-tail and mule deer permits for south-east.

I generally like from the 10 or 11 on to the end of Nov. for white-tails.

Thats a good idea. Why don't you start a thread and ask the hunters here to put the date and time they killed their white-tail buck and an approximate score and or picture.

By Dec. we should have a sample of a couple hundred bucks.

Mule deer could be included too.

The problem is if a fellow only hunts the first week of Nov. then that is when he is likely to kill his buck. And if a fellow only hunts the last week then that is when he will kill his.

So I guess we will just get something similar to this, a poll on when we like to hunt the best.

I think It could be a cool and helpful survey too. It would have flaws for sure but I think it could be somewhat helpful. I don't know how to set up polls though. If you know how you can start the thread up.
