I tried to post by using the instruction but it says invalid file???? the pic is of 2 elk and one will go 400 I was only 20yrds away they are mouthdropping!
I am a little concerned with this hunt as theses were the only 2 i seen and i put alot of miles on and most farmers think they are in the block and come out in the spring , will have to wait and see.
MC
ps i can e-mail to some one and you can try and post for me I would like to reduce puc cause camera sucks and get better veiw if you zoom in ?

Moose...did you see em outside the block at least? That would be enough to get my blood pumping......but ya...I've heard a lot of the elk come out in March/April from ranchers as well......

I'm sure you can find a big old stinkin bull outside the base man...

Yeah - I feel really sorry for you MC (note the sarcasm). Even if you didn't see very many elk on your scouting trip - I think those two more than make up for the low numbers outside the block. Those are monsters man. If I see anything like that on my elk hunt this year I'll be smiling for years to come.

Hopefully you can find them on opening day. You know where they are hanging out now so it's just a matter of running into them again.

Best of luck.

I saw 2 bulls on the way to work (just inside the base) the one was a nice 6x6 the other was a huge bull a main frame 7x7 with some stickers, reminded me of a roosevelt the way he crowned ontop. The really cool part was he had ragged velvet hanging off of himself. And me without a camera!
