I'm going to try for Goldeye on the fly this year. They put up a pretty good fight on a light spinning rod and would be real fun on a 2wt. I've hit quite a few just hanging the rod over the side of the boat with a jig only a few inches in the water.

I heard there is grayling fishing in the Hangingstone river but I don't have any experience fishing in the area myself. Probably not open till June though.

Hangingstone does have small grayling that will always take a small fly. Lots of stream walking required.

House river is pretty good grayling fishing also. But the further you get away from the highway the better fishing. I fish all the stocked lakes and gregoire like for pike on the fly .always had luck
