Smile Fly Fishing on East Coast?

Heading out to the east coast this year and looking to do some fly fishing for brook trout on the rivers and ponds and maybe fly fish for salmon, even try some chartered sea fishing. Headed to St. Lawrence ,Charlottetown, Halifax and St John. Looking for any information on rivers , ponds or chartered fishing companies in these areas that I should check out.
Any information would be great!

Thanks.

If you can, head to Cape Breton and hit the Margaree. Depending on your date of travel it can be very rewarding.

I fished in Newfoundland a couple years ago. Non-residents must be accompanied by a guide or can fish by themselves so long as they are near a bridge. Check the regulations. They had a drought when I was there so I didn't catch anything but there is plenty of fishing opportunity. I fished near the Codroy Valley.

Newfoundland you can fish within 800m of a public highway except in scheduled salmon waters - which includes pretty much anything too big to jump across that flows into salt water - easy to get a map
Nova Scotia buy a license and off you go
Not sure on the regs in NB
In PEI there are trout in most flowing water, the big name is the Morell River
In NS depends what you want for fish for:
Unfortunately the bucket brigade has been wildly active in NS, many of our best trout waters now have Smallies and Chain Pickerel (aka Snot Rockets)
Try Shortts Lake near Truro for the above
The Stewiacke, between Middle and Upper for Brownies
The tidal part of the Shubenacadie/Stewiacke estuary for stripers (bring big gear)
Any of the "North Shore" Rivers between New Glasgow and Antigonish for either rainbows or Brownies depending on the river
The Bras d'Or Lakes for RFB rainbows
and of course the Margarees for salmon depending on when you're here
Depending how much time you have, that should keep you out of trouble for a while

I'm also heading to the East coast this year. Would love to bring my rod and some flies but may not have the room....

I did manage to find this hatch chart for NS. That might help you out some while you are down there.
