I'd choose dolberg. Chironamid hatch should be going on right now if you fly fish

Black nugget has gotten slower and slower every time I've been out, its doubtful we will see it like it was last fall again any time soon. There's a few fish that did survive the winter in Beaumont, I seen a few rises there on Saturday but no luck landing any. Have not yet been to dolberg so I can't comment. black nugget is pretty busy and the fishing on the steady decline i think I'd go give dolberg a shot, Beaumont is pretty small, but friend of mine c&r'd what he said was a 14" brown trout the weekend before last, don't know if that was a stretch size wise but I suppose it's possible.

Black Nugget is suppose to be one of the lakes AEP stocked Tiger Trout, which could make fishing interesting. Although, I have to admit I have never fished it.

What a surprise when the province fails to regulate the fishing and the take and take and take some more fishermen run free...

Tiger trout were such a waste, I hope they stock some more but not until they get the regs changed. No point wasting stocking money so that a few guys can fill their freezers...

Hey guys

Went to dolberg today. Had a few hits no hookups tho.

Left my pocket open and lost all my tippet to the lake

Gonna hit up cardiff for an hour tomorrow morning and probably be back at dolberg Thursday. Thanks again for all the advice.

Dolberg can be very hard to fish- Black/ green leeches were working recently. I basically check the water and start my way through the fly selection. Panther martin and Flatfish have been effective as well.
