Too bad they were so flat in the 1st and 2nd. Nice push in the 3rd after they woke up. Exciting finish.

Brodie again...what is it with him this season? *sigh* great comeback, showed a lot of heart to come back from a five goal deficit to make it a one goal game.

You get an assist on the game Moose. 'one in the bum.....'

So take the positive, good come back, and Bennett got a couple. That is a huge plus, to get him rolling. Johnny with a goal and assist. Carry on....

Flames 10-1-1 vs Oilers before Galutzen 0-5-1. Need his butt fired. Do as well with a cardboard cut out

I agree. Brodie has to go. He is useless.

No, I disagree, he doesn't need to go. He is one of the fastest D we have, and has a good history in Calgary. Just not so much this year. Maybe he got audited, or has family problems or an old injury or.....there is just something off with him at the moment. I'm not prepared to throw him under the bus, but I'd sure like to see him get his head back in the game. Whatever is hindering him needs worked out. That's why they have sport psychologists......and a boot in the backside from Gio if that's what it takes.

Probably has nothing to do with the fact that that’s also when McDavid showed up in Edmonton....
Reason they got rid of Hartley was he didn’t relate to the new guys. Guletzen is a huge part of why Jags is in YYC and that is one of the reasons Gaudreau is doing so well. Think he has some good ideas but a little extra passion wouldn’t be bad, but not Torts type passion.

Best to just trade him to the Oilers for Benning.

Hmm, hadn't heard that. That could certainly have a bearing if so. What I see is a lot of mental errors that aren't in character from previous years. Puts me in mind of Stajan and his struggles after his tragedy.

Hope they are planning for 4 unanswered in the 3rd again as 3 against in 71 seconds isn't the best recipe to win a hockey game.

That penalty on Frolik for the last pp goal was a horrible call.....

I think it has more to do with mcdavid than galutzen, the flames seem not to have an answer to him.

Well, the Flames look like the team I was expecting to see at beginning of the season...too bad. They had my hopes up for a while. Hopefully that can shape up this season again.

Philly was due for some luck. They didn't play overly well but got the bounces. Smith had a sub par night and Calgary couldn't score. Reminded me of the Oilers in the 1st week of the season. Double up on shot over your opponent and still lose. Elliot did play well and was probably fairly motivated given it was against Calgary.

Go Oil Go!

The Zebras didn't help with the call on Frolik for high stick, and then tossing Hamonic. I didn't see that as check to the head. Flames couldn't buy a bounce. Oh well. At this rate the Oilers might catch up by Christmas and they'll both be bottom 15 teams.....
