In the 3rd period of this game, watch Pouliot when he's on the ice....

Does this guy ever win a puck battle along the boards, or a foot race!? It blows my mind they let him dress... never mind actually play!! 2 more years at 4 mill/ per! If I ran the Oiler organization I wouldn't pay for his skate sharpening!! Worst effort on the ice most nights!!

Very impressive finish!
Kept the pressure on and a fantastic play.
I was bouncing in and out between watching the game and looking at the buy and sell on CGN and here , lucky I switched on about 5 minute before they scored - dunno WHO scored mind you , but it was pretty cool!

Hard to believe those were the same two teams as Tuesdays' game. Most hard to believe part is that is the same Leon Draisaitl as game 4. Must have had $2500 in his pocket slowing him down before.

Oh yeah, that was a gooder! If they could play the next game like they did in the OT, I'd be really, really happy.

Yahoo. Missed the game. Caught highlights. Shots 14-2 overtime. Wow. Sharks must have tired out. Hits in first period taking toll on sharks. Side note, Shocker to me is Chicago eliminated in 4.

For sure. Regardless of whether the Oil wins or loses this playoff series, I'm honestly content. Fact is, we aren't going to win the cup. But in a few years, I absolutely think this team will be as good as a contender as any team in the NHL. All of the experience the boys are gaining in this series is invaluable. Bouncing back after a tough loss at home when you were up 2-0. Bouncing back after getting absolutely thrashed 7-0. Grinding out long playoff games into OT and keeping the pressure on. Coming back from a 3-1 score to win.

Heck, even next year I see this Oilers team being some dangerous come playoff time. I still say that the only missing piece is a true no 1 dman. Something akin to a Doughty/Weber/Pietrangelo. We might have one in Klefbom yet, but it's a fun thought thinking of how good the Oilers could be with one of those on their blue line.

Word is also that Philly GM is open to rebuilding and moving any of their players, even Simmonds. Now there's a guy I want to see on the Oil..

Exciting comeback for sure. Why they dress Pouliot i don't know, put in one of the other guys already. Ebbs is trying and shooting lots but can't catch a break.

If they go into San Jose with the same game play as last night, they should win and close out the series. I have been thinking the Sharks can't keep up, they seem to tire in the 3rd. Two close matched teams though. Fun hockey to watch. Go Oil!

Pouliets job was well executed this series. Anyone watch close enough to know what that was?

Right on..

When we went down 2-1 I wasn't to worried but 3-1 I was pretty quiet. The Sharks are a battle hardened been there done that team that can hurt ya in so many different ways, and to see Conner absolutely FLATTEN that shark and see the team rally behind that that was something they wouldn't of even cared about in years past, they would of just folded after they tied it up. Win or loose these kids have been SOOO much fun to watch this year. I said sharks in 7 but hope I'm wrong & they can put em away tomorrow night.

Gonna have to have the best game of the year to close them out in the tank but I'm feelin it. LETS GO OILERS!!!

I'm not impressed about having to miss the game to go Terry Fator at the River Cree tonight.
