Default Man wins 30 year battle to fish PUBLIC lake

I read this today and hope it sets a precedent in Alberta as well.
There are a number of stocked and unstocked lakes in Alberta that are surrounded by private land.

If a lake is managed or stocked with tax dollars and fees from fishing licenses, then all license holders should have the ability to fish there.

Public access should be provided, should be adequate (easy to get to lake, parking available), and adequately marked.

Seems like everything needs to be a battle... very similar to trying to access Bearspaw Reservoir.
