What a fine, fine day for it too. Today my huntin' and fishin' partner turns 66. As part of the preperation for this event, I have handled the logistics. First I went down to the cigar store and bought an assortment of fine stogies. (I wonder if I didn't get ripped off because some of them look like they came right out of the cat's sand-box, but the clerk assured me they are indeed cigars. What the hell - if they are cat turds, we will smoke them anyway).
3 mid-size lobsters are scrabbling around in a box out in the garage, and I got some specially cut extra thick tee bone steaks. And to keep the chefs well lubricated, I bought an especially fine bottle of scotch that was bottled back when we first started hunting together back in the mid-80's.
I'll be damned, there are times when nothing beats being an old man! Watch and learn young fellas.
Watch and learn.
Hope your week end is as shaping up as well as mine.
