I saw these pics some time ago in an Outdoor life along with a few more pics and the story. The "warden" pulled out his service revolver (.357 mag I believe) and emptied it into the bears head area. The 6th shot killed the bear and the fellow said the loudest sound he'd ever heard was the seventh time he pulled the trigger "CLICK".
