Default Coming Full Circle

I have had great hunts each weekend.

Thanks to a gracious landowner, and AO member, who sent me google earth pics telling me where to setup, without me even scouting, I was able to take my Godson and his younger brother on an outstanding duck shoot yesterday morning. Not massive swarms, just steady, steady shooting which allowed us to stretch out the fun. Limits of mallards, a few specs, and a few sky pandas. Wouldn't you know it, as soon as we knock down the blinds and start packing up, the Canadas started coming. Knocked some down hiding between the trucks and trailer. LOL.

I've hunted with these boys' father since we were in elementary school. Stood in each weddings and fathers funerals. Held those boys as babies. Helped teach them to hunt and fish. Now they are running the show, and when schedules sync, they are helping teaching my son the ropes too. So rewarding.

Just a wonderful day to be alive.

I’m getting close to the day when my son, his friends and my nephews are the ones spearheading the hunts. Can’t wait for the day I get the call saying “Let’s go”

When I scouted that field Friday, I knew you would do good on the ducks, but I was a a little surprised to see so many geese show up.

My parents and their best friends have been that for 60 yrs. They other couple had kids first. Those boys watched my sis and I grow up, baby sat, camping etc. My sis and I watched the one sons 3 girls grow up, were in their lives, baby sat camping etc.

Those 3 girls watched my sis and my kids grow up, baby sat, camping etc. Our 4 adult kids are now watching the 3 women's kids grow up. 1 toddler, 2 babies coming. The circle just keeps on keeping on.

When you say the circle, I hear ya.
