Default 2018 CWD results

Was looking at info and noticed this update as of June 21, 2019. It shows the positive results by WMU.

I sort of was surprised that there were 6 cases in WMU 242 last year. Getting really close to where I hunt. Like 20 miles. Looks like it's time to get all my deer tested.

A disturbing trend however not sure how to interpret.

I would like to see this with percentages ie number detected vs total submitted.

My sons moose was from 242 2 yrs ago and that's when I first heard cwd was in the area. We chase WT a couple times a year on the same properties so I was thinking the same.

From what I just looked up, 242 is already on the mandatory list and all deer taken from there have to be tested. Mr moose has been almost eaten up so if he had it, we will never know.

Those numbers sure are skyrocketing.

Time to go back to the low population density management protocols.
