I was the same Trigger. I got 4 fox in 2 spots on my last check. I think they just started moving a lot for breeding. I noticed 2 had rubbed and were useless so I pulled all my stuff for the year

i grew up shooting fox in Nw MN. they were thick in the 70-80 and early 90's.
on a nice sunny winter day, it was common to see 30+ a day.
bout 91-92, i shot 167 of the little buggers.
then mange hit in mid 90's, then coyotes moved in and WHAM.......
they are very scarce here now.
