Default Reg Question (Again).

So I have misplaced my reg booklet. I have a 330 set in the water (little canal beavers make to come and go onto shore). I have been checking it everyday, but I think the beavers are pretty well gone now. Going to leave trap for awhile yet, but do I have to check it every day? Since it's a killing trap, can I check it every 2nd day (or third)? Thanks.

You do not need to check every day for a killing trap. The daily check only applies to restraining traps and for Resident Trappers.

"Traps that are not killing devices must be checked at least once every 48 hours if set under the authority of a Registered Fur Management Licence, or at least once every 24 hours if set under the authority of a Resident Fur Management Licence."

Thanks Dave. I notice it doesen't say anything about the times you have to check a killing trap. I wouldn't want to leave it for more then 2 or 3 days at the most, but was still wondering.

The regs are also available online, takes a bit longer to find the sections but they are there.
