If you want to avoid online sales, you might be able to find a Mystery Ranch pack in a local shop for around the price range. I'd give JimBows a call, they might carry MR.
I was in jimbows about 2 weeks ago (calgary) and they had quite a few in stock. That being said I bought a stone glacier 2 years ago and it is the best I have ever used
I recommend the Tenzing packs. I've had mine for about 5 years now. Not a rip or a tear anywhere on it. Has treated me well and carried lots of gear and meat in it.
You won't find a good pack local except mystery ranch unless you buy used.
Kifaru, stone glacier, exo and last to look at is kuiu.
All need to be ordered.

I've been using Mystery Ranch for almost 10years , this year I made the switch to Stone Glacier , wish I did it years ago,
Lighter, more frame adjustments, better weight distribution, better design
I'd take a bindle over Kuiu

i love my kuiu icon i cant say enough good things about it, it has awesome lumbar support/padding i find a lot of packs come to far down my back, but the icon sits right where it should it doesn't move around at all even when loaded to the point of bursting. lots of internal pockets for organizing your gear but still feather light. the price sucks but its wroth it in my books. i prefer a pack with a solid back support not just the aluminum staves. second would be my tenzing very comfy but not much back support for heavy packouts and third would be badlands i didn't care for my clutch much at all i used it to pack out my black bear last spring and that was enough for me.
