Not me .. If it were opened tomorrow I'd be ecstatic.

Just heard that Andrea Moorhouse released her findings of DNA hair study in the extreme SW. 51 different grizz in the public land alone. If this is legit then it shoots a hole in the last study .

You bet. Go north of nordegg. All gates west of the truck road must be locked north of the black stone they call it the core grizzly . Gates do an excellent job of keeping the public out but the loggers are allowed to rape and pillage. Now the gates protect some new cut locks

SW corner on public lands - eastern slopes. Maybe sheephunter knows exactly how far north. Study is to include private lands this year, where many people feel the majority of grizz reside.

It'll be interesting to see what this study yields.

Ok. Reports are the bears were moved to the Willmore. So they didn't go to where we are short of Bears ! Trying to figure out what the plan really is ? Dump bears where we have lots and complain about bears shortages ?

Why doesn't the study cover ALBERTA? All of it? Public, private, park...

Stop fishing for the numbers they want, and get the numbers that are there.

Well they are getting the numbers that are in the sw. The reason I think is this area has always been poorly estimated, because of the huge influx of BC and Montana bears. Maybe now they will believe us when we say this area should never have had the Grizz season taken away. For more info goto "andrea.morehouse@gov.ab.ca"
