Default New to the forum-Scouting (pics attached)

Just moved to Calgary and started scouting areas for the past 3 weeks. So far I have found some good places. I do not expect to get drawn this year as I have no priority, but I have found some good general season hunting areas.
As I am new to Alberta I would say the best tip for newbies is get backroad maps Alberta and start scouting!

you seem to be doing ok so far. im guessing that you have found and photographed more big game than many guys who have been here for years. i suspect you will do fine.

Hopefully those animals will still be there when the seasons start opening!

Without this I wouldnt have been able to figure out crown land as easily. I think for a new hunter this is the best tool besides the time scouting in the bush.
