X3 on sending them in to Korth, worth a shot, IMO.

I have the same set - Am really pleased with them so far, although I'm not too demanding of them. Got them on a wicked deal at the time, which is why I chose them over the Nikons. I do like Nikon glass (have that on two of my rifles now).

I still say, try them yourself, I like the Nikons. I own Pentax, Minolta, Leica, Ziess and Swaro and the closest to the best of them, Leica, is the Nikon for my eyes. Other guys, their eyes are different. You have it narrowed to Nikon, Vortex and Leupold so the advice from here helps, but final decision comes down to what you see through each set.

For $500 I would look for a used set of zeiss conquests, or meopta.

Another vote here for the Monarchs!

Got the Monarchs 7's and have been very impressed.

Im looking at upgrading to the Nikon HG or the EDG line up.

So im selling my monarchs 7's if anyone is interested (10x42, $500)

If you can spend a little more, Meopta makes excellent glass. I've been very happy with mine.
