There was a 3 things they could have done different which would have maybe won it for them.
1. There were 2 occasions of a 3 on 1 and the shooter decided to shoot themselves instead of making a pass for a much higher % opportunity. On the last one, 2 players were wide open between the dots but instead took the low % shot.
2. On the 2 US goal, what was Canada doing!!!! A full line change when the US had possession on the blue line and a US player all by their lonesome. Most had their back to the play....arg!!

And 3. On the OT power play why did the coach put a D out that played limited minutes???!! She tripped on the blue line and the puck comes out of the O zone and they loose a huge chunk of PP time.

Don't get me wrong, the US played a hell of a game and deserved the win and it was awesome to watch except for the 12:15am finish when I had to be up for work at 4am......
Our women played their asses off and am real proud of them!!

We are at 24 medals.

26 in 2010 was the record.

Hopefully we have a few more left to win!

The game is won and lost by a few brain farts which happen every other shift or so just gets really exposed when a complete line has one...

Maybe I got used to Canada dominating in curling and my expectations for them was way too high. Both the Men's and Women's teams s*** the bed this year. Very disappointing to say the least. I think that the pressure of being known as the best got the better of them. Oh well, we get to start from scratch 4 years from now.

Yeah some fell short and some exceeded expectations but that is what happens when you are exposed at a world level of competition which makes it so entertaining for us wee mortals to watch.

I compete in Spartan races...or I should say show up...man when world class racers pass by I just am totally amazed at just how great these athletes truly are...as a trudge behind....awesome!

Just tuned to the Germany-Russia game. 3-3, overtime. What the heck is going on? Is anyone watching? How did it get to overtime?

I miss watching Datsyuk.

The turned to the hockey game with 6 minutes left.!Wow. Germany could of controled that last 2 minutes on the PP being up by a goal.

For OAR this tie it with 55 seconds left...crazy

For the penalty called in OT. Not a penalty to call IMO. Pretty weak call. Wasn’t a scoring chance.

Oh well congrats to OAR and a bigger to Germany
