Anyone know if you can still launch at. St. Maries? Don't know how low they have drained it yet or if the ice is starting..

If you get the ab rivers app you can get the level of the reservoir. I know that it was bellow 60% end of September and i could not get my boat in but maby if you had a 12ft aluminum or something like that you could. Not sure about ice but i was in Glenwood on the weekend they got 12cm of snow and -11 over night. Some irrigation ponds had ice for sure

Lowest I have put a boat in at was 61% . Lake is currently at 47% so I would think if you need to use the launch you would be out of luck.

It was created for irrigation, so yes the canal/irrigation system drains it out every year. There is a PRA and a private campground that have beaches for swimming

I was told they drain it because of flood mitigation.....i never understood why they drain it 60% every year.
