Arrow 20% off Bass Pro (Cabela's) gift cards!!!

Ring up a single $50 Bass Pro gift card at Superstore and it knocks 20% off ($10 off $50). Have to do each card as an individual transaction. The extra 10 min it took saved me $400 on $2000 of gift cards. Of course they work at Cabela's too.

Sale on till the 29th

Helluva deal IMO

Is it just the 50.00 cards? Sorry for asking as I haven’t been there lately and not sure if they have the 100.00 cards anymore

They have tons of $50s, should be no problem.

Perhaps the OP's cashier did something incorrectly because this deal isn't exactly as the OP stated. Buying the $50 bass pro gift card earnings you a $10 discount from your basket of groceries. I just walked out of a Superstore having gone in expecting something different because of what was incorrectly posted.

Well if it's working for others. I got in line with a small $30 basket at the 12 items or less line and could not see the gift cards, I asked when I got my turn. Then I went over to where they noted the gift cards were adjacent the self-serve checkouts and no Bass Pro gift cards were even there, but the sign was. I guess you've found the glitch in the system, I'll try again or perhaps the Mrs will get to that. Thanks.

Ask at customer service, after I cleaned out the rack, they had more

We just returned from Signal Hill and scored two. Grabbed some groceries with the Mrs and we hit the till as though we were separate shoppers each buying a gift card. It was either $20 off our groceries and full priced gift cards or full price groceries and 20% off the gift cards.....

A few months ago, I swapped about $200.00 in Bass Pro gift cards for Cabelas gift cards. Just had to go to customer service, and they did all the work while I shopped !! Saved a bundle off of my new GPS using the Bass Pro cards

I picked up 8 $25 gift cards at the Shawnessy Superstore in south Calgary. I didn't buy any groceries. I paid $160 for the cards. No problems.
One transaction.

Thanks

Their sign says Bass Pro cards, but my understanding is that you can use them at either store considering the common ownership. Don’t take my guess at that as fact, just repeating what I’ve heard. Call the stores to confirm.

I was looking at some of the ways one could stack savings with these. Currently there is an deal on Federal “black pack” bulk ammo, as an example I’ll note the 100 round steel ammo can of 12 gauge OO buck currently on sale for $89.99. Buying that with gift cards that got you 20% off that makes them $71.99, but wait, there’s more! Federal currently has a $20 US Dollar rebate program on their various Black Pack ammo offerings (up to $100 USD max rebate). Subtract that $26.60 Canadian at today’s exchange rate and now you have a steel ammo can with 100 rounds of 12 gauge OO buck for $45.39!!

You’re welcome. last chance for this would be today as the gift card sale cutoff is today, the Federal ammo rebate has a wider time window.

What sucks is I bought two of these from another vendor prior to knowing about the Cabelas gift card thing thinking that the combination of the vendors 20% off combined with the factory rebate was unbeatable. I like that vendor and all, but money is money. Ammo being what it is, no refund potential even with the factory zip ties still sealing the can latch.

Don't forget to use the $20 survey coupon too on min $150 purchase. It's saved me a lot this year.

Edit-or made me spend more.....50/50

Geesh, stacking that on my previous suggestion by buying two cans would make each of two cans 12 gauge only $35.39. Jumpin' Jehosephat!!

Just grabbed six... the discount didn't come off at the till, a supervisor had to apply the discount... bit of a pain, but I got $300 worth of gift cards and some groceries for $270. Guess I can't complain.

My plan is to save these for Boxing Day
