Default Bear Attack Stories

CBC's The Current did a program on bear attacks Monday that included 3 people telling stories of bear attacks. I don't think I'll ever forget the story told by Gerald about the attack he survived.

MW, Patricia's son worked for me over the past two years. He is truely one of the most remarkable young men I have ever met and am proud to call him a friend.

The Bear's Embrace became a best seller. A major book tour through out the US was planned and it looked as though the family was on the verge of a degree of closure.

Patricia was schedualed to tell her story to the word on a full episope of The Opera Winfrey Show. It never happened, as the day was September 11, 2001. The book tour was also cancelled and sadly, the rest is history.

I shall never mourn a dead bear......
