Default Whitetail Doe down

Got to my spot just before shooting light and waited for the sun to rise. Around 8ish this doe came out by herself at 200 yards and posed on the side of a hill. Took the shot with the 7mm Rem Mag and dropped her. Not even one kick. Bullet went in behind the shoulder and right through the other one. Took out the aorta. Hunting season is done for me until late season opens for my antlerless elk draw.

Default Thanks

The place I sit is at the far back end of the property we hunt, so it took a little over an hour to get her out on a calf sled. Sure glad I never shot my moose back there. One of these days I need to save up for a quad.
